Woodcock Johnson IV
The Woodcock Johnson IV Test of Cognitive Abilities is an assessment of cognitive abilities that shows both a full scale intelligence score and scores from 7 different cognitive domains.

CTONI2
Second Edition (CTONI-2) is a norm-referenced test using nonverbal formats. Measure general intelligence of children and adults who might be adversely affected by subtle or overt impairments involving language or motor abilities.

WISC-V
Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children® Fifth Edition (WISC®-V) is an intelligence test that measures a child’s intellectual ability and 5 cognitive domains that impact performance.
Achievement Assesments

Woodcock Johnson IV Achievement
The Woodcock Johnson IV Test of Achievement is an individualized, norm referenced assessment of academic achievement. It assesses skills in reading (including phonics and phonemic awareness), math, and writing.

WIAT 4
The Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, Fourth Edition (WIAT-IV) is an individualized, norm referenced assessment of academic achievement. It assesses skills in reading (including phonics and phonemic awareness), math, and writing.

KTEA-3
The Kauffman Educational Achievement Test, Third Edition is an individualized, norm referenced assessment of academic achievement. It assesses skills in reading (including phonics and phonemic awareness), math, and writing.

Texas Primary Reading Inventory (TPRI) is an assessment to identify early reading difficulties in students in the areas of book and print awareness, phonemic awareness, graphophonemic knowledge, word reading, reading accuracy, fluency, and listening and reading comprehension. Lack of these component skills (+memory and vision) results in a reading disability, also known as dyslexia.
Adaptive Testing

Vineland-3
The Vineland-3 is an assessment of adaptive behavior which examines a student’s personal independence and social functioning in school, home and community.

ABAS-3
Adaptive Behavior Assessment System Third Edition (ABAS-3) gives a complete picture of adaptive skills across the lifespan. It is particularly useful for evaluating those with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, learning disabilities, neuropsychological disorders, and sensory or physical impairments.
Speech and Language

PPVT4
The Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT™) is an instrument that can be used to measure receptive (hearing) vocabulary acquisition in Standard American English of children and adults.

GFTA3
The Goldman-Fristoe Test of Articulation, Third Edition gives a comprehensive look at a person's ability to produce speech sounds in both words and sentences in all positions within words. While the examiner will keep a record of sounds produced correctly and sound errors during the assessment, a single score is also produced which is a quick summary of speech sound development relative to peers.

CELF5
The Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals, Fifth Edition, is a comprehensive assessment of a person's use of language, both spoken and listening. Different subtests examine semantics (word choice), morphology (use of word forms), syntax (word order), and pragmatics (appropriate language used in context) for students ages 5-21.

Test of Pragmatic Language 2nd Edition (TOPL-2) is an instrument used to assess social communication in context, telling you how well students listen, choose appropriate content, express feelings, and make requests.
Behavior Assesments

Behavior
A Functional Behavior Assessment is a process of structured information gathering about a problem behavior that poses a significant barrier to the student’s learning, safety, and/or social relationships. Through the FBA, the school team can determine why the student is engaging in problem behavior and what underlying need (or function) that behavior is currently meeting for the student.

BASC3
The Behavior Assessment Scales for Children, 3rd Edition is an assessment battery in which multiple individuals are asked to fill out rating scales about a person's behavior. Scores provide a comprehensive picture of a child's or adolescent’s behavior and emotions.
Exclusive Functioning

BRIEF
The Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function uses teacher and parent input to assess a student's behavior and executive functioning skills.
Autism Assessments

ADOS-2
The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule is an observation based assessment in which the examiner does a series of activities with the person, noting carefully different features of their behavior and interaction style. This assessment is specifically used to consider behaviors and other patterns typical of autism.

GARS 3
The Gilliam Autism Rating Scale is an assessment used to rate the presence of symptoms typical of autism.

CARS2
The Childhood Autism Rating Scale uses a combination of input from parents and teachers along with direct observation to assess the presence of autism symptoms in an individual.

Beery VMI
The Beery Test of Visual-Motor Integration examines a person's ability to visual remember, plan and execute motor movements.
Hearing

Hearing
Hearing testing helps schools screen for potential difficulties with hearing and ear function. Additional testing may also be done by an audiologist and can include tympanometry, pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and hearing aid analysis.
Vision

Vision
Vision testing helps schools screen for potential difficulties with vision and eye function. Additional testing may also be done by an optometrist to inform potential need for vision correction, or may include observation of a person's ability to navigate their educational environment.
Observation

Observation
Observations when used as assessments can serve a variety of purposes, but are meant to inform the educational team of the educational impact of a potential disability and how a student functions in their educational environment. Types of data taken may include frequency of specific behaviors, on task vs off task behavior, or a general observation of how a student weakness impacts their time in school.
